HTF COMPACT ECO NANO THERMO FLUID – Project Results

HTF Compact has reduced electricity consumption by an average of 12%, measured across different periods of the year with varying ambient temperatures.
Additionally, it was observed that the effect of HTF Compact Eco is more significant during colder months. At lower temperatures, chillers are generally more efficient. Therefore, the higher thermal conductivity of the refrigerant containing HTF Compact can provide a greater level of relative Eco savings.

ENERGY PERFORMANCE

The final results show an average 12% reduction in electric consumption, with savings measured against 2023 consumption data and calculated based on different outdoor air temperature points.

GAS EMISSIONS

The annual reduction in greenhouse gas emissions was found to be 620 kilograms of CO₂ (Calculated according to the parameters of the United States Environmental Protection Agency).

FURTHER CONSIDERATIONS

To assess the actual efficiency improvement provided by HTF Compact Eco, periods of the year with and without the nanofluid were compared, ensuring similar average temperatures. External temperature significantly impacts chiller performance
